Orlando Local Joins Florida Chamber Safety Council Advisory Board

Nautique Boat Company President Greg Meloon has joined the Florida Chamber Safety Council as an Advisory Board member.

“The Florida Chamber Safety Council Advisory Board guides the vision and strategy behind creating national standards for workplace safety, implementing first-in-the-nation programs to prevent injuries, reduce operational costs, and improve production, performance and corporate culture,” said Florida Chamber Safety Council President Katie Yeutter. “Greg’s leadership, and his track record of safety in manufacturing, adds another layer to the Advisory Board as we build a culture of safety in Florida.”




The Florida Chamber Safety Council serves as the official state chapter of the National Safety Council and is Florida’s leading provider of workplace safety trainings while working to promote policies, practices and procedures leading to increased safety, protection and health in business and industry, in schools and colleges, on roads and highways, and in homes and communities.

“As our Advisory Board grows, the Florida Chamber Safety Council can better serve Florida’s business community by sharing more and more best practices across all industries,” said Florida Chamber Safety Council Chair Mark Morgan. “As a major manufacturer, Greg and Nautique Boat Company will help us foster a culture of safety, health and sustainability in every industry – which is essential to securing Florida’s future.”

Every day, the Florida Chamber Safety Council works with Florida companies to provide safety solutions that match the needs of every business through an extensive training program, offering a suite of training solutions which includes private 1-on-1 trainings to its employees, public trainings hosted across Florida, and an online, on-demand safety training platform that allows businesses across Florida to set up safety trainings for their employee from the comfort of their computer.

The Florida Chamber Safety Council’s second annual Southeastern Leadership Conference on Safety, Health and Sustainability, will be held March 30 – April 1, 2022, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Orlando. The event will attract business leaders from across Florida and the Southeast looking to learn and share the latest data/research, benchmarks and best practices for the safety, health and sustainability industry.
