Orlando Law Firm Gets Battery, Theft Charges from Universal Dropped

An Orlando law firm was able to get the case dropped for a client facing prison time for battery and petit theft charges from Universal Orlando Resort.

A client for the Arroyo Law Firm was arrested at Universal Orlando Resort for allegedly hitting a private security guard and a police officer. He was facing up to 15 years prison if sentenced consecutively.

But the Arroyo Law Firm got the case dropped.

Florida criminal defense and civil rights attorneys Phillip Arroyo and Josephine Arroyo make up the Arroyo Law Firm team. Practice areas include assault, battery, violent crimes, domestic violence, drug offenses, possession, traffic offenses, weapons offenses, theft, robbery, prostitution, violations and other crimes, as well as expungement of criminal record and more.

The law firm slogan is “Chill, call Phil,” and even with charges from a major theme park power like Universal, he proved he will have his clients back.

  1. The first two charges seem to be redundant. Why do all of these similar type of charge always seem to appear out of nowhere? Multiple charges of the same thing? Does the court get to create more fines or does the Law firm get paid by the the amount of charges?
