Orlando Hosts 7th Annual Free Blues B-Q

Orlando Mayor Dyer invites Central Florida residents and visitors to the 7th annual Blues B-Q in Downtown Orlando. Injecting the blues genre into Downtown Orlando’s culture, this FREE blues festival attracts music fans from across the state.

Blues B-Q is one of the City of Orlando’s four signature events and now in its seventh year, Blues B-Q boasts previous headlining acts such as GRAMMY Award winning artists Buddy Guy, The Robert Cray Band, Jonny Lang and the Queen of the Blues, KoKo Taylor.

Mayor Dyer is proud to announce that Robert Randolph & The Family Band will headline this year’s annual Blues B-Q event. Robert Randolph & The Family Band taps into the rich history of 20th century American music, pulling from the soulful sounds of the blues and the high energy of rock.

The event will also feature other national and local blues acts as well as Orlando’s finest mouth-watering barbecue available for purchase.

New at the Blue B-Q event this year, the City will be collecting new or gently used shoes to help children and families in need. The drive is in partnership with NBA player Chris Duhon’s Stand Tall Foundation, the Art of Stepping. All types of gently used shoes will be accepted and can be dropped off at the Parramore Kidz Zone tent.
