Orlando Hit and Run Kills 5-Year-Old, Police Search for Mercedes Occupants

Last weekend, a 5-year-old was killed in an Orlando hit and run, and the Orlando Police Department needs the community’s help to identify those responsible for the crash who fled the scene. There is a reward of up to $5,000 for information related to the crime.




According to the Orlando Police Department, on Saturday, November 11th at 9:51pm, OPD’s North Patrol Officers responded to a vehicle crash in the 4300 block of N. Orange Blossom Trail involving a 2016 silver Mercedes C300 and a 2016 white Nissan Pathfinder. Both vehicles were traveling southbound when they crashed.

As a result of the crash, two occupants were ejected from the Pathfinder and the occupants of the Mercedes fled the accident scene.

According to OPD, one of the ejected occupants, 5-year-old Aiyanna McCoy, was transported to a local area hospital where she was pronounced deceased. The other occupants of the Pathfinder are all in stable condition, according to authorities.

OPD Traffic Homicide Unit is actively investigating this and is asking for the public’s assistance.
