Orlando Cops Investigate Shooting Death of Man

UPDATE: 5:00 PM:  The deceased man is Emanuel Marti Perez, 26 years.

Police are investigating a shooting death of a man at an apartment complex on Oak Haven Drive, off west Oak Ridge Road in the vicinity of the Mall of Millenia.

The apparent shooting took place at 4550 Oak Haven Drive around 4:43 am on Thursday morning.

Police have not released the name of the deceased, pending notification of next of kin.

The investigation is ongoing as to the motive for the shooting.
