Orlando is the 7th most popular Memorial Day destination this year, according to the Orbitz Insider Index, released on Tuesday.
Based on hotel bookings on Orbitz.com, Las Vegas, followed by New York and Chicago claim the top spots.
Many of the usual beach locations also top the list: Honolulu #4, San Diego #5, and Miami Beach # 6. Indianapolis cracks the top 10 due to the Indianapolis 500 on May 30.
The Orbitz Insider Index also provides information on which nearby neighborhoods or suburbs in those hot spots offer relative bargains for budget-conscious travelers.
According to Orbitz, staying in Kissimmee ($61.94) instead of in Orlando ($71.71) can save travelers more than 20 percent in lodging costs.
