The Orlando Police Department arrested a 16-year-old at an Orange Blossom Trail bus stop, with a loaded gun in his backpack, for armed robbery of 7-Eleven.
On March 25th, at approximately 5:36am, an OPD patrol responded to an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven located at 5570 N. Orange Blossom Trail.
During the armed robbery, the suspect held the clerk at gunpoint and fired a round which narrowly missed striking the clerk.
Violent Crimes Detectives identified the suspect as Jai’lyn Bythwood.
Bythwood was arrested earlier this month as he approached the bus stop located at 5298 N. Orange Blossom Trail. According to OPD, he had a loaded firearm in his backpack.
Bythwood is charged with Robbery Armed with a Firearm While Wearing a Mask, Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, and Possession of a Firearm by a Delinquent.
