Two people implicated in numerous burglaries in Orlando, Orange County, and Osceola County are in jail.
After being alerted by a concerned citizen to a suspicious vehicle in a neighbor’s driveway, Osceola County Sheriff’s investigators responded to a home in Oak Shore Drive in St. Cloud around 11:28 am, on November 4.
Deputies said that the driver of the vehicle who has been identified as “John Doe” attempted to leave the area, but the deputies made contact with him. John Doe told deputies he was waiting on his girlfriend, Jenny D. Nunez, 20 years, who was inside the residence. But, neighbors told deputies the couple did not live at the residence and a search of the vehicle turned up pliers, screwdrivers and electronic equipment.
Nunez and “John Doe”, 29 years, were taken to the Osceola Sheriff’s Office for interviews.
Police conducted search warrants at the apartment where “John Doe” lives and found stolen property, including numerous electronic items, jewelry and guns stolen from Orange County, the City of Orlando and Osceola County.
On November 5, deputies charged Nunez and “John Doe” with unoccupied burglary, possession of burglary tools and dealing in stolen property and criminal mischief.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending, Deputies said.
