The Orange County Property Appraiser’s office is accepting applications for all exemptions including Homestead, Limited Income Senior, Widow/Widowers, Disability and Military/Veterans through March 1st.
Property Appraiser Rick Singh would like to remind residents who purchased a home in 2012 and moved in prior to January 1, 2013, that they should apply by the March 1st deadline to be eligible for important tax benefit(s) in 2013. Â
“The exemption option is an important resource for residents of Orange County, especially those who find themselves on a fixed budget,” said Orange County Property Appraiser Singh.  “For many residents it means the difference between obtaining medications or other necessities and being able to hold on to their home.”Â
