In conjunction with its A Year in the Life: Backstage to Onstage at Universal Orlando® Resort, exhibition, the Orange County Regional History Center is hosting a series of demonstrations and Q&A sessions with experts from Universal Orlando Resort’s Art &Design Department. The July events will be hosted by Universal Lighting Manager Tony Humphry, Universal Manager of Entertainment Environmental Health and Safety Mike Mergenthaler, and Creative Manager Rick Spencer.
WHAT: A series of demonstrations and Q&A sessions with experts, designed to take visitors behind the scenes at the theme parks’ iconic annual events. WHEN: Lighting and Water Technology Q&A on Saturday, July 13 and Stunt Demonstration and Q&A on Saturday, July 27; 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
WHERE: The History Center is located at 65 East Central Blvd., at the corner of Magnolia Ave., downtown Orlando. Parking is available in the Public Library parking garage on Central Blvd. Demonstrations will take place on the 3rd floor in our historic 1927 courtroom. Q&A sessions will take place on the 2nd floor in the exhibition.
