Orange County History Center Hosts Free Community Day for Boys & Girls Clubs

 

WHO: The Orange County Regional History Center pledged a free community day at the museum for Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida due to the fundraising success from #GivingTuesday. Giving Tuesday was launched on November 27, 2012, as a day to raise awareness around giving at the start of the annual holiday season that traditionally focuses on receiving. The History Center and Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida were founding partners in the initiative.

WHAT: A free community day for children of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida to explore the museum and participate in a guided tour.

WHEN: Friday, January 18, 2013; 2-4 p.m.

WHERE: Orange County Regional History Center, 65 East Central Blvd., at the corner of Magnolia Ave., downtown Orlando. Parking is available in the Public Library parking garage on Central Blvd.
