Orange County Escapee, Still at Large

Deputies continue their search for an inmate who escaped from the Central Florida Reception Center at 700 HC Kelley Road in east Orange County on Friday.

James R. Russell

James R. Russell, the escapee, is 35 years.  He has brown hair in a buzz cut, is 5′ 6″ tall and 176 pounds.  He has a mole on the left side if his face, no bottom teeth and was last seen wearing a blue prison inmate jumpsuit.

Russell has several tattoos on his body–among them, three heads on chains and flames cross, 2 lightning bolts and a knuce with Hitler, a Swastika portrait–all on this right arm and a skull with flames/Harley Davidson on his left arm.

It is beieved that Russell escaped in a white Ford E350 15 passenger van bearing a yellow Florida Corrections tag – DC7217.

Russell has a long rap sheet dating back to 1998 in Manatee County.  Convictions include grand theft, cocaine sale, trafficking in stolen property, forgery, battery on a Law Enforcement Officer with a firearm, resisting an officer with violence.  He was last taken into custody July 2010.

Anyone with information on this man or the vehicle he is believed to be driving should call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office or their local law enforcement agency immediately.
