Orange County Sheriff’s deputies have identified one of the men shot and killed in a double homicide on Americana Boulevard on Monday night.
Reginald Legerme, 27, was killed during a physical altercation with two suspects. Investigators said, another man, 32-years-old, was also shot and killed.
A witness (man) told deputies during the altercation one of the two suspects displayed a firearm, as he and other people fled the area. The witness also told detectives, he saw another man in possession of a firearm, as he ran.
Several gunshots rang out, the witness told deputies, and he sustained a minor injury.
The man ran across American Boulevard to the Ameriana Plaza where he requested the assistance of an off-duty deputy.
The unnamed 32-year-old victim, was transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center where he died of a gunshot wound.
Legerme was also transported to ORMC, and died of multiple gunshot wounds.
The shooters fled the scene after the shooting and remain at large.
The investigation is ongong.
