Orange County deputies are continuing their search for a 16-year-old girl missing since Monday from Hawthorne Hills Place in Orlando.
Alexandria Fransa Chery, 16, was last seen around 7:00 a.m., at her residence in the Hawthorne Grove Apartments near the intersection of Old Winter Garden Road and Good Homes Road.
It is unknown what clothing Alexandria was wearing, as she was in bed when she was last seen by her mother, Rosalie Joseph.
Joseph said, it’s unusual for Alexandria to go missing and not contact her family and there is concern for her well-being. She told investigators that her daughter told her she wasn’t feeling well and was staying home for the day. Â When her mother returned from work around 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Alexandria was no where to be found.
Joseph also told deputies that there was a wet spot found on the floor of her daughter’s bedroom and there was an odor of bleach. She also found a pair of wet male underwear under Chery’s bed, Joseph told detectives.
Investigators found blood spatter on several areas of the residence.
According to deputies, Alexandria was spotted in a black Pontiac which was found in the Pine Hills area. Deputies are now processing the vehicle for any clues leading to the teen’s disappearance.
Meanwhile, deputies arrested Wednesday, Sanel Saint Simon, a longtime boyfriend of Alexandria’s mother, and charged him with giving false information to law enforcement and attempted destruction of evidence.
At a news conference today, Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings described Alexandria’s disappearance as “extremely suspicious.”
Alexandria is described as 5′ 2″ tall and weighs about 105 pounds. She has black eyes and brown hair.
