Orange County Animal Services Holds Second Annual Barktoberfest

Orange County Animal Services invites citizens to attend the Division’s second annual rescue appreciation event, Barktoberfest, on Saturday, September 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m at Lake Eola. The event will feature dogs from more than 20 of the Division’s rescue partners in the hopes of matching at least 50 homeless pets with loving, forever homes. To help reach this goal, the Division has joined with several community partners.

Animal Services receives around 23,000 pets every year and our rescue partners help to save many of those lives,” said Dil Luther, Division Manager of Orange County Animal Services. “Hosting Barktoberfest is our way of saying thank you to our rescue partners and letting them know that we truly appreciate all they do.”
