OPD: Thirty-Six Years Later, Man Pays $1 Traffic Fine

A man who was fined $1 thirty-six years ago, mailed in the money to the Orlando Police Department (OPD) on Tuesday.

Stanley Baker who received a parking fine in November 1975, sent a note with his $1.00 that said:

“So sorry for the delay, 36 years later…Better late than never.”

Orlando police said that Mr. Baker also is requesting a receipt for the payment.
