OPD Takes Another Illegally Possessed Gun Off Streets in Parramore

The Orlando Police Department continues keeping the city safe by taking illegally possessed guns off local streets.

Recently, OPD reported that Officer Gruler and Officer Marrero were on the beat conducting residential and business checks in the Parramore neighborhood when they came across a suspicious vehicle. Their investigation led to a recovery of drugs, a knife and a loaded firearm in the possession of a convicted felon:




“Thank you to Officer Gruler and Marrero for keeping our city safe and taking an illegally possessed firearm off our streets,” OPD posted.

With local crime, guns, violence and drugs all remaining problems around Orlando and downtown under Mayor Buddy Dyer, OPD reminds all residents to remember, “See Something, Say Something” by calling Crimeline or 9-1-1.

You will be given a confidential tip code number. Tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000. All tips eligible for a reward are paid to tipsters using an anonymous process. Remember, if you witness a crime in progress, you should call 911.
