The Orlando Police Department is asking parents if they know how important their role is in their child’s development? Orlando parents can register for an upcoming 2-hour virtual Parents Seminar with an open discussion with a mental health counselor about different youth-related topics, including mental health issues, peer dependence, adolescent development, social media, and youth groups.
The Parents Seminar will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Parents do have to apply by completing an application for the OPD Parents Academy. For the application, you will need to provide some information including your contact information, driver’s license or ID number, and responses to why you want to participate in the Parents Seminar.
