OPD made a homicide arrest for the fatal shooting of an Orlando woman.
The Orlando Police Department announced the homicide arrest related to a shooting incident that occurred in the 700 block of Ivey Lane.
Last month, officers with the Orlando Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 700 block of Ivey Lane. Upon arrival, officers located a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim, later identified as Celebrity Green, was transported to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
An extensive investigation determined the shooting stemmed from an argument that began when the victim asked two individuals to leave the apartment due to excessive noise. During the altercation, one of the individuals produced a firearm and fired multiple rounds, striking the victim.
The suspect has been identified as Osolomon Fitzhugh. He was apprehended by the Orlando Police Department Fugitive Investigations Unit and SWAT Team. Osolomon was charged with 2nd degree murder with a firearm.
OPD said that all individuals involved in the incident have been identified and accounted for.
This remains an active and ongoing investigation in Central Florida, according to local law enforcement.
