Your Help Is Needed, OPD Identifies Suspect In Bank Robberies

The Orlando Police Department (OPD) Robbery detectives have identified the suspect in the Bank of America robberies in the City of Orlando. The suspect is also  responsible for the Bank Robbery that happened in Winter Park, Florida.  The OPD Robbery and Fugitive Unit spent most of today looking for the suspect.  Unfortunately, today at approximately 3:24 p.m. the suspect committed another bank robbery at a SUN TRUST Bank in the Tampa area.

OPD lists the following robberies carried out by the suspect:

(i) Bank of America Robbery on 3/9/09 at 2893  S Orange Ave (OPD) and (2) Bank of America Robbery on 3/10/09  2701 S. Conway Rd (OPD)

An Arrest warrant has been issued for the suspect, Robert A. McLemore, a white male.    He is 6′ 2″ tall, weighs 285 pounds, and has brown hair.

Anyone with information about McLemore is asked to call the Orlando Police Department of Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.  Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a reward up to $1,000.00.
