OPD: 12 Busted in Operation Clean Sweep, Four from one Family

As part of Operation Clean Sweep, on Wednesday, the Orlando Police Department SWAT teams arrested 12 persons in connection with selling, dealing and cultivating cannabis and possession of  illegal firearms.   Four of those arrested belonged to one family.

According to OPD:

On Wednesday, March 24, 2010 SWAT, Tactical Patrol Squads, and other units executed three simultaneous search warrants in the Washington Shores and Richmond Heights area of Orlando, as part of Operation Clean Sweep.

Twelve arrests were made and those arrested were charged with selling, dealing and cultivating cannabis.  Several guns and drugs confiscated, including an AK 47 were also confiscated in the raid.

Of the twelve charged, four persons–Walter Giles, Michael Giles, Bruce Giles and Terrance Jackson–belonging to one family were arrested at 4684 King Cole Boulevard.

OPD said that the investigation is ongoing.
