A one-year-old baby boy died at his home in the 6800 block of Anoka Drive near Hiawassee Road on Monday morning, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies said.
Deputies said, said just before 11:00 am, a 911 call was received advising that the 1-year-old body was not breathing.
Orange County Fire Rescue proceeded to give CPR instructions, but when deputies arrived at the scene, the boy was still not breathing.
The baby was transported to Health Central Hospital where he was pronounced.
Deputies are currently conducting a death investigation, but they do not believe that foul play was involved in the one-year-old’s death.
