One Suspect Identified in Violent Sunbelt Credit Robbery

Deputies have identified one of the suspects involved in the violent robbery of Sunbelt Credit on Wednesday morning.

Antonio Cantrell Sledge - suspect

29-year-old Antonio Cantrell Sledge, is one of two suspects who entered Sunbelt Credit at 6750 north Orlando Blossom Trail.

Deputies say, Sledge and another suspect, who remains at large, entered the business wearing masks, ransacked the business and pistol-whipped two employees.

The armed robbery occurred just before 8:00 a.m., as employees were opening the business.

The employees were taken to Florida Hospital to be treated for their injuries.

Sledge was caught behind Sunbelt Credit, shortly after the armed robbery. He has been charged with several counts, including robbery with a firearm, wearing a mask, aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm.

Sledge was booked into the Orange County Jail just before 2:00 p.m. yesterday.

Deputies are still searching for the other suspect.
