One Killed, 2 Critical in Sunday Morning Shooting

 

Orlando police say, one person was killed and two others remain in critical condition, after gunfire broke out early on Sunday morning.

The shooting happened just before 2:00 a.m., outside the Taqueria Los Deleites in a strip mall along Curry Ford Road, near Semoran Boulevard.

Investigators say, four victims were found with gunshot wounds in the parking lot. It is believed that eight people got into a fight, which led to the shooting.

One victim was pronounced dead at the Orlando Regional Medical Center, two are in critical condition and a fourth victim is in stable condition.

According to cfnews 13.com, an Orlando police officer heard the gunshots, then witnessed a car drive off. The police officer persued the car, but three of the four occupants bailed out and ran into the woods near Lake Underhill Road.  The vehicle’s occupants were eventually apprehended.

Investigators also say, they are currently interviewing the occupants of the vehicle.

The name of the deceased has not been released.
