Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival Returns after Hiatus

Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is returning after a multi-year hiatus and ownership change.



Last seen in March of 2023, Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival (OMF) is finally returning to Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, Florida, March 19-22, 2026.

2026 Okeechobee Music & Arts FestivalThe first OMF was held in March of 2016 and was produced by independent live event company, Soundslinger, LLC.

According to Okeechobeefest, OMF’s foundation is built on the pillars of community, creativity, spirituality, love, and respect. The OMF experience is one where we exist in harmony with each other and our surroundings, recognizing the profound influence and significance of the natural environment. It’s a space where every Okeechobeeing can be their authentic self, cultivating kindness and respect both between each other and the environment we inhabit.

In 2019, Live Nation-backed Insomniac stepped in to keep the festival alive, and it continued on for a few more years, ultimately taking a hiatus for the 2024-2025 seasons.

Per Miami New Times, Insomniac will no longer be involved with Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival and it will go back to being independently produced by Soundslinger for the 2026 return.
