UPDATE: Tonight’s scheduled DUI Saturation patrol in Winter Park has been cancelled, due to predicted severe thunderstorm and possible tornado activities this afternoon and evening. The OCSO Evening Traffic Units will still be out looking for DUIs, but there will not be a multi-jurisdictional effort. Each agency will handle DUI arrests individually.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with the Orange County Community Safety Task Force, and Winter Park Police Department will host a multi-jurisdictional DUI Saturation Patrol Operation.
The objective of this operation is to educate the motoring public and to safely remove suspected DUI offenders and criminal traffic violators from the highways by mobile and stationary high visibility traffic enforcement tactics.
WHEN: Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 9:00 PM thru Wednesday, November 27-2013 till 4:00 AM.
WHERE: Winter Park Police Department, 500 Virginia Ave, Winter Park, Florida (Kick-off)
WHO: The operation is a multi-agency effort involving members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Maitland Police Department, Orlando Police Department, Florida Highway Patrol Troop D, Florida Highway Patrol Troop D-K Turnpike, Winter Park Police Department, University of Central Florida Police Department, Edgewood Police Department, Winter Garden Police Department, Windermere Police Department, Apopka Police Department, Ocoee Police Department, Oakland Police Department, Belle Isle Police Department and the Florida Highway Patrol Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Division.
