Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies captured on Monday, an escaped prisoner in the vicinity of Columbia Street and Sligh Boulevard. The escapee had been arrested for DUI and battery on a law enforcement officer and was being treated at the Orlando Regional Medical Center.
Details remain sketchy, but up until Tuesday morning, investigators had not yet officially identified the escaped man as he had provided two different aliases.
Deputies have booked the escapee as John Doe as they await fingerprint results.
