OCSO ‘Click It or Ticket’ Campaign: March 1-15

clickitfinalBeginning March 1 through March 15, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Motor Unit will be enforcing the State of Florida’s seat belt and child restraint laws.

Seat belts are the most effective safety feature ever invented and have helped save thousands of lives. But, sadly, one in five Americans fails to regularly wear a seat belt when driving or riding in a motor vehicle.

Called the ‘Click It or Ticket’ campaign, deputies from the Motor Unit will be at the following location on Monday, March 3rd:

  • 09:00-10:30 hrs. at  Lake Underhill Rd/Goldenrod Road
  • 1:30 pm-3:30 pm at Lake Underhill Rd/Econlockhatchee Trail.

It is a $114 dollar ticket for not wearing a seat belt, and $164 dollars plus three points, for not properly restraining a child.
