Ocoee Police have arrested a man whom they believe flashed a young child as she shopped with her Mother at a Wal-mart store on Sunday.
David M. Huffman, 43 years, who was charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition on a minor on Monday, remains in the Orange County Jail.
Ocoee investigators learned that a man, later identified as Huffman, flashed a young child while she shopped with her Mother at Wal-mart on 10500 west Colonial Drive in Ocoee. When the child’s Mother attempted to confront the man, who wore a long black trench coat, he disappeared from the store. Surveillance cameras identified the suspect in the store, and a Loss Prevention Officer told police he had observed Huffman walking in circles inside the store for about 30 minutes. Several employees observed Huffman get into an older model car with a West Virginia license plate.
Police said that a check of the license plate came back to a David M. Huffman, a registered sexual offender and according to FDLE, is listed as a transient.
David M. Huffman’s last known address is on Parks Oaks Avenue near Princeton Street in Orlando.
Huffman was arrested around 6:37 pm on Monday, December 20th, 2010 and is in the Orange County Jail.
