President Barack Obama unveiled on Wednesday a bold and aggressive set of proposals aimed at helping stem the growing gun violence in the United States.
The package of proposals come at the end of a four-week review by a task forced headed by Vice President Joe Biden and includes background checks and a renewal of the ban on assault weapons and high capacity magazines.
