President Barack Obama will travel to Orlando on Thursday, to deliver remarks on the economy at Valencia College.
Mr. Obama will focus on ‘Women and the Economy’ as the White House ramps up its campaign to promote a number of economic issues facing women, a central voting bloc in the upcoming mid-term election.
Women continue to earn 77 cents of every dollar earned by men, although women continue to outperform their male counterparts in obtaining college degrees.
The president will keynote the Working Families Summit at the Washington’s Omni Shoreham hotel on June 23, in his continuing efforts to spotlight economic issues confronting women.
