The Orange County School Board approved today a Memorandum of Understanding with Junior Achievement of Central Florida for a new magnet program at Oak Ridge High School beginning in the 2012-2012 school year.
Called the Junior Achievement Leadership and Entrepreneurship Academy at Oak Ridge High School, the magnet program is a long awaited OCPS project with Junior Achievement of Central Florida, Inc.
The program is geared to helping students learn and master leadership and entrepreneurial knowledge and skills through a broad, integrated, challenging, and engaging high school curriculum. The Junior Achievement Leadership and Entrepreneurship Academy joins dozens of magnet programs already available throughout the school district.
