A student attending a National Rifle Association (NRA) class earlier today, was accidentally shot in the foot by his instructor, Orlando Police Department (OPD) officers said.
According to OPD:
North Patrol responded to 735 Herndon Avenue around 11:45 am today, February 20th, in reference to a shooting.
A student, Robert Frauman, Jr., 50 years, was attending a NRA Carrying Concealed Firearms certification class when the gun of his instructor, Michael Phillips, 32, accidentally discharged. Frauman was struck in the foot. He was subsequently taken to Florida Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
