Glen Davis, the Magic’s leading scorer and second-leading rebounder, fell after being fouled by Washington Wizard’s Emeka Okafor with 47.8 seconds left in the Magic’s 90-83 win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.
Davis was laying on the court holding his left shoulder which has been reported to be just a shoulder sprain. Davis will only be out a couple weeks.
JJ Redick led the Magic with 17 points leading them to a 90-83 win over the Wizards Wednesday night.
“The injury overshadows the win for us,” Redick said.
The Magic (12-13) are now 7-3 in their last 10 games. However, the team could find themselves in trouble with Davis out of the lineup.
“We will need to play even harder,” Magic guard Aron Affalo said. “Glen is our emotional leader.”
Affalo finished with 15 points.
Orlando will travel to play the Toronto Raptors Friday night, tip off set for 7pm.
