New Truck Alert: Orange County Fire Rescue’s Truck 51

The Orange County Fire Rescue Department worked very hard to get a new truck up and running for crews. Truck 51 went into service recently and will be housed at Fire Station 51 over on Oakridge Road.

“If you see it on the road, wave hello,” Orange County Fire Rescue posted.

Orange County Fire Rescue is the largest fire and rescue department in Central Florida. It serves more than 1,000,000 citizens and visitors and responded to 124,000 calls for service during the last fiscal year.

Prospective firefighter candidates are asked to submit an interest card to get in touch with recruiters who will provide the latest information on OCFRD’s ongoing hiring initiatives, including upcoming deadlines, job postings, qualifications and testing dates.
