A new and improved EZmatch launched with bigger prizes from the Florida Lottery.
The Florida Lottery said it was “thrilled” to announce the launch of the newly enhanced EZmatch™ feature, saying it is bringing players more value, more instant-win opportunities, and even more reasons to add EZmatch.
The updated prize structure delivers higher payouts, and increases excitement across both Fantasy 5 and Florida Lotto draw games.
Players who add EZmatch to their tickets will experience a refreshed prize lineup that now includes a higher minimum prize of $3, new $25 and $40 prize tiers, and improved odds of winning $5 and $100 prizes. For just $1, EZmatch continues to offer the chance to instantly win up to $500 by matching EZmatch numbers to the numbers printed on their ticket.
These updates mark the first major enhancement to the EZmatch prize structure since 2008. The Florida Lottery said the new and improved changes are designed to increase player satisfaction while encouraging trial play among new players and continued engagement from existing players.
The new EZmatch structure includes:
- A new minimum prize of $3
- New $25 and $40 prize tiers
- Better odds to win $5 (improved from 1-in-300.00 to 1-in-52.50)
- Better odds to win $100 (improved from 1-in-11,052.63 to 1-in-10,500)
- An increased overall prize payout from 68.05% to 77.99%
Since its introduction in 2006, EZmatch has become a popular instant-win add-on feature for Florida players. Across FANTASY 5®, FLORIDA LOTTO®, and the previously discontinued LUCKY MONEY™ game, EZmatch has generated more than 128 million winning tickets, awarding over $440 million in prizes, an average of 18,000 winners and nearly $62,000 in prizes every day.
