New EV Charging Hub Open in Orlando’s Busy Tourist Corridor

A new EV charging hub opened in Orlando’s busy tourist corridor, giving EV drivers a new option for high-speed charging.

OUC—The Reliable One opened a new Recharge Hub at the Orange County Convention Center.

The new EV charging hub is located at 8500 Tradeshow Boulevard – outside the convention center’s North Concourse, near the intersection of Universal and Tradeshow Boulevards, and across from new hotels for Universal’s Epic Universe.

Both locals and tourists can take advantage of the location.

Open to the public 24/7, the hub features six DC fast chargers, which can power an EV battery to 80% in about 30 minutes.

The hub provides J1772 adapters for Tesla cars and employs CCS standardplugs used by many EVs, including Chevrolet, Ford, BMW, Kia, Hyundai and others.

This is OUC’s second Recharge Hub. The first, with 21 high-speed chargers, is located in downtown Orlando on Robinson Street, between Orange Avenue and I-4.

Future hubs are in the works around town.
