Reuters has published some never-before-seen photos taken inside Osama bin Laden’s compound in Abbottabad in Pakistan.
The photos are gruesome and show three dead men lying in pools of blood, but no weapons.
According to Reuters, the photos were taken by a Pakistani security official who entered the compound about one hour after the raid was undertaken by Navy SEALs.
On Wednesday, President Barack Obama took the decision not to release photos of the body of the al Qaeda leader, bin Laden, believing that it could incite violence in the Middle East and used as a propaganda tool.
