NACC to Hold Annual Gathering in Orlando

The North American Christian Convention (NACC) will hold its annual gathering of worship, teaching and fellowship this year in Orlando, from July 10-13.  About 7,000 people are expected to attend the the convention at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort.

Under the theme “Refreshed,” the NACC will feature such top-notch speakers as pastor-authors Rick Warren and Bob Russell, stand-up Christian comedienne Chonda Pierce and techie-humanitarian Shaun King.

Warren wrote “The Purpose Driven Life,” which has sold more than 30 million copies in English. He is pastor and founder of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, CA., with more than 100,000 attendees on 5 campuses. Russell is former senior pastor of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Ky., which has 18,000 worshippers each weekend. Pierce is also a television hostess and author. King is regarded as one of the leading voices on how social media can make the world a better place.

Rick Rusaw, 2012 NACC president, says the convention will focus on refreshing all attenders, especially those who face demands, pressure and stress of serving at their churches, in their communities or on the mission field.

A full teen convention, including main sessions and workshops, is offered. So is a Children’s Convention. Workshops, Bible studies and networking events provide attendees resources for their ministries and churches. Hundreds of different organizations, including Christian colleges, missionaries, churches, non-profit ministries, and publishing houses, offer exhibits.
