Murs, famed American rapper, currently on a 51 cities Hip Hop & Love Tour, will hit downtown Orlando on Friday, October 7. The performance will be at BackBooth, 37 west Pine Street, Orlando, 32801.
Born Nick Carter in 1978, Murs will perform along with Ski Beatz, (the producer behind tracks for Jay-Z and Mos Def), West African/DC rapper Tabi Bonney, singer McKenzie Eddy, rapper Da$h and musician Sean O’Connell.
Sponsored by MTV, Sirius and Adidas, this is the first tour showcasing the entire roster at BluRoc, the new label headed by Jay-Z old Roc-A-Fella partner Damon Dash.
The tour kicks off in Ybor City at Crowbar on Wednesday, October 5, then travels to Tallahassee on Thursday, October 6, at Club Downunder. The Hip Hop & Love Tour concludes in Florida at BackBooth in Orlando on Friday, October 7.
Murs, in addition to BluRoc, is a member of the hip hop groups Living Legends, Felt, and the 3 Melancholy Gypsys.
He appeared as a rapper on more than 20 records, EPs, and singles over a seven-year period, both on releases by 3MG and Living Legends. His debut solo album, The End of the Beginning, was released in the spring of 2003.
