A 34-year-old motorcyclist was killed on Monday night after being hit by an SUV in Orlando, Florida Highway Patrol said.
The crash happened just after 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Apopka Vineland Road and Juneau Drive.
Garvey Dean Fowler, of Apopka, the motorcyclist, was traveling south on Apopka Vineland Road approaching Juneau Drive, when he was struck by the SUV which traveled into his direct path.
Fowler and a passenger, Laura Brugonone, 35, were ejected from the motorcycle onto the roadway. Â Fowler was taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Brugonone sustained critical injuries.
Walter Guilbeault, 65, the driver of the SUV suffered serious injuries and was also taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital.
Troopers said, the crash remains under investigation.
