A Orlando motorcyclist was killed early on Thursday after he was partially run over by a semi-truck on Principal Row near State Road 441, troopers said.
Troopers say, the unnamed motorcyclist was behind the semi-truck which was traveling westbound on Principal Row and attempting to turn right into a driveway. For an unknown reason, the motorcyclist sped up and attempted to pass the semi-truck on the right side.
Troopers also say, the motorcyclist collided with the front of the semi-truck and was partially run over. The 47-year-old Orlando motorcyclist, who was riding a 2004 Harley Davidson, was pronounced dead on the spot. His name has not been released. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, troopers say.
34-year-old Marlon Sterling was driving the semi-truck when the crash occurred around 6:00 a.m., on Thursday.
The crash remains under investigation.
