A woman in Charlotte County, Florida, was found guilty by a jury in a ghastly child molestation case.
Melissa Bailey, 29, was convicted of all six charges of sexually abusing her daughter from birth to 18-months, abc-7.com reported.
In 2009, Bailey was arrested along with her boyfriend, Glenn Nelson, 62 years, who took a plea deal.
Bailey allowed Nelson, who is serving time in prison, to engage in the assaults of her daughter.
Charlotte County deputies said, it was one of the worst cases of sexual abuse of an infant they had ever seen.
The jury rejected Bailey’s defense that she was insane and was unable to control her actions, abc-7.com also reported.
Bailey could spend the rest of her life in jail, as each charge carries a life term. Â She will be sentenced in October.
