fb28Generic-News-Fatal-Crash.jpegAn Orlando mother and her daughter were killed in a two-car crash in Orlando on Monday, Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened at the intersection of Texas Avenue and Rose Boulevard around 5:40 p.m.

Silvia Flores, 49, and her daughter Jennifer Flores, 23, both of Orlando, were pronounced dead on the spot by the Medical Examiner, after their 2013 Toyota Camry was hit while traveling eastbound on Rose Avenue.  Silver Flores was driving the vehicle.

Witnesses told troopers that the Camry has stopped at the stop sign and then entered the intersection when it was struck by a Nissan traveling southbound on Texas Avenue.  Fizal Rahaman, 19, was driving the Nissan at the time of the crash.  He, along with a passenger, Franck Mission, 20, suffered minor injuries.

Rahaman’s blood alcohol level is being tested to determine whether or not alcohol played a role in the crash.

Troopers say, charges are pending.
