More Guns & Drugs Removed from Downtown Orlando Streets by Police

The Orlando Police Department reported more guns and drugs were taken off the streets of downtown Orlando.




“Officers on our Downtown Bikes, Parramore Bikes, and TAC squads continue to work hard removing illegal drugs and crime guns off our streets,” OPD stated.

Over the weekend, these OPD squads recovered seven crime guns and made 18 arrests while working on the beat in downtown Orlando.

Local crime, guns, and drugs all remain problems around Orlando and downtown under Mayor Buddy Dyer. Police remind all residents to remember, “See Something, Say Something” by calling Crimeline or 9-1-1.

You will be given a confidential tip code number. Tips that lead to the felony arrest of suspects and/or the recovery of stolen property and drugs may be eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000. All tips eligible for a reward are paid to tipsters using an anonymous process. Remember, if you witness a crime in progress, you should call 911.
