More Drugs & Another Gun Off Orlando Streets

If it seems like you hear this story a lot, you’re not wrong – but local police have taken more drugs and another gun off the Orlando streets. Before the holidays this month, the Orlando Police Department reported that North Patrol Officers stopped a vehicle near West Colonial Drive and Fairvilla Road.

A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a hidden firearm inside a console panel, which was possessed by a convicted felon.  Illegal drugs were also found. Here’s what police found:

According to OPD, both the driver and passenger were charged.

With local crime, guns, violence and drugs all remaining problems around Orlando and downtown, OPD reminds all residents to remember, “See Something, Say Something” by calling Crimeline or 9-1-1.
