A man who shot and killed his friend in Apopka on Friday evening, was booked into the Orange County Jail earlier today.
40-year-old Antonio L. Orr is accused of shooting to death, Darrion Pugh, 30, Orange County deputies said.
Detectives arrived around 5:45 p.m. at an apartment at 1138 Old Apopka Road, in response to an aggravated battery by gunshot, call.
Investigators say, after Pugh was shot he got up and ran to 1130 Clarcona Road, where he was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
Pugh was transported to Florida Hospital Apopka where he was pronounced dead.
According to news reports, Orr and Pugh were friends and the killing could have been over a woman.
Orr was arrested and charged with first degree murder. Â He was booked into the Orange County Jail around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday.
