A Kissimmee mother was arrested Sunday and charged with aggravated child abuse, police said.

Yashira Estrella-Ramos, 32, was taken into custody after it was reported that her 4-year-old daughter had multiple burn marks on the top of both hands.   The Department of Children and Families had received a report and requested police to follow-up at the home in the 1500 block Ernest Street in Kissimmee.

Police said, the child told investigators that her mother burned her hands with the stove, because she was mad that the toddler spilled bleach in the laundry room.  The child was able to demonstrate how she was burned for the investigators.

Police also said, the child received second degree burns on the tops of both of her hands.

Estrella-Ramos was arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse.  She was transported to the Osceola County Jail and was held on $5,000 bond.
