Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found Murdered in Apartment

Deputies are investigating the murder of a man who was reported missing on Saturday night.

Investigators found the body of 25-year-old Jay Stone, a white male, in his apartment at 1229 Vizcaya Lake Road in Ocoee, after he was reported missing by his parents around 7:00 p.m.

Stone’s parents told investigators they had not heard from their son in about three days, nor had he reported to his job.

Deputies say, that one of Stone’s credit cards had recently been used and his SUV is missing. A BOLO has been issued for a 1995 Red Chevy TrailBlazer FL Tag # C371LD.

Investigators have not said if robbery was the motive for Stone’s murder or how he was killed.
