Miss California to Speak at Exchange Forum

The Republican Party of Florida today announced Carrie Prejean as a special guest speaker at the RPOF’s Drive the Discussion Exchange ’09 youth event on August 22, at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Orlando, Florida.

The event is open to all ages, but will focus on young voters, 18 – 35 years of age. Drive the Discussion.com is an interactive Web site launched by the Republican Party of Florida earlier this earlier as part of Chairman Greer’s 2009 Youth Outreach Initiative. The Web site features an open forum for discussion of the critical issues facing our state and nations. The daily blog postings coupled with a twitter feed and conversation cloud provide a one-stop shop for young people around the state to not only post their own comments, but also to see, in real time, topics and thoughts of others across the state and nation.

The RPOF Youth Outreach Initiative is a comprehensive program aimed at encouraging young Floridians between the ages of 15 and 35 to consider joining the Republican Party. The program includes multiple voter registration and technology components and will culminate with the Drive the Discussion Exchange ’09 this summer.
